In 20 years as a player at the top end of the game, Cesc Fàbregas worked under some of football’s pre-eminent minds. In this exclusive interview with The Coaches’ Voice, he reflects on the lessons he learned during those years, from coaches including Arsène Wenger, Pep Guardiola, José Mourinho, Vicente del Bosque and Antonio Conte.

In 2023, the World Cup-winning Spaniard made the step from leading the youth and reserve teams of Serie B side Como, to take up a position on their first team staff, including a stint as interim head coach. Here, he talks about his hopes for his own career, and the tactical and man-management techniques he will take forward into his own coaching – as well as others he might not.
