Pep Guardiola says that Erling Haaland feels better but will be assessed ahead of Leicester match

Pep Guardiola says Erling Haaland is feeling better following his injury scare against Borussia Dortmund but insists he does not yet know whether he will be available for Man City’s game against Leicester on Saturday.

Haaland, who has scored 17 goals in 11 Premier League games this season, had to be taken off at half-time of City’s goalless draw with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday due to a knock to his foot and a combination of illness and fatigue.

“He feels better but we will train this afternoon and we will assess in a few hours,” said Guardiola at his Friday press conference.

“We will see how he feels in his foot and after we will decide.”

“I will know in two hours if he’s able to play or not.”
