Scott McTominay says Man Utd can win trophies with ten Hag | Club triggers four contract extensions

Manchester United’s Scott McTominay says he believes that his side can win trophies under Erik ten Hag ahead of their Carabao Cup clash with Burnley.

In other news Manchester United have triggered the one-year options in the contracts of Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot and Fred, extending them until 2024.

All four players saw their deals expire at the end of this season had these options not been taken.

The quartet have become integral parts of Erik ten Hag’s first-team plans, with Rashford United’s top scorer with eight goals in all competitions so far this season.

Goalkeeper David De Gea’s contract also has the option of an extension until 2024 – but the club are yet to trigger that due to ongoing talks about a new longer-term deal.
